Festival of Science and Technology AMAVET 2014 – official evaluation

On 15 November 2014 at 12:30 in the Aula of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava, an official ceremonial evaluation of the Slovak nationwide science-technology competition entitled ‘Festival of Science and Technology AMAVET’ was held. This is one of the main events of the Week of Science and Technology in Slovakia 2014. The organizer of the festival is the Youth Association for Science and Technology – AMAVET (led by the chair doc. Ing. Jozef Ristvej, PhD., and the director Ing. Gabriela Kukolová) in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (SCSTI) and the National Centre for the Popularization of Science and Technology in Society within SCSTI.

Slávnostné vyhodnotenie FVT AMAVET 2014Ceremonial evaluation of the festival was held with the participation of guests, including: Ing. Róbert Szabó, PhD., who is the advisor of the director general of the higher education, science and research section within the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic; Mgr. Andrea Putalová, who is the director of the National Centre for the Popularization of Science and Technology in Society within SCSTI; Miroslav Šarišský, who is the delegate of Slovenské elektrárne (joint stock company), a member of ENEL Group; Jean Claude Guiraudon, who is the honorary president of MILSET - The International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology and honorary president of the Association for Youth, Science and Technology AMAVET; and professors of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University; competitors; media representatives, and others.

 

The resident of the expert evaluation committee of the Festival of Science and Technology AMAVET 2014 doc. Ing. Jozef Ristvej, PhD., presented the festival’s evaluation sheet of the primary and secondary school students’ projects. Results were as follows.
