COST Info Day took place in the presence of Juraj Draxler, the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic, leading representatives of the COST program from Brussels and Slovak scientists on 20 March 2015 on the premises of SCSTI on Lamačská cesta 8/a in Bratislava.

COST program (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a tool for European cooperation in science and technology allowing coordination of nationally funded research on the European level. COST contributes to reduction of fragmentation in European research investments and to opening of the European Research Area (ERA) towards global cooperation. COST program announced new call for projects earlier this year, in which scientists and researchers from all sectors can engage, including private companies, which was also discussed in the framework of the event.
