National Design Award for the students from the Slovak University of Technology

Students from the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology received again the award in the competition National Award for Product Design. They succeeded with extinguishing drone and original furniture.

hasiaci dronNational Award for Experimental Product Design 2015 was awarded to a student Adam Tóth (educator Tomáš Nagy) from the Institute of Design, the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology, with his extinguishing drone. According to the jury, this experiment could be an inspiration for the creation of a real product.

The Jury Prize was awarded to a well known project Flowers for Slovakia: Lost & Found. This project has been periodically organized by Peter Olah, the graduate of the Institute of Design, the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology, together with designer Lars Kemper and educator Michaela Lipková from the Institute of Design. Within the scope of the project, students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology worked with traditional furniture to which they tried to give new features. Designers have succeeded with the project already last year at the International Design Festival in Berlin.
