Minister of Education J. Draxler appreciated the work of journalists

An award ceremony of prizes to the winners of competitions of the Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2015 was held in the premises of the Small Stage Theatre STU (Divadlo Malá scéna STU) in Bratislava on 11th November 2015 at 13:00 o´clock with the participation of the Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of SR Juraj Draxler.

DNA and its use in prognostics, diagnostics and therapy

Wednesday with a molecular biomedicine introduced to the public an explanation why there is no need to fear, but rather to enjoy, what we can do with DNA nowadays - from reading, throught targeted changes, to creating a new DNA. The event, as one of the events within the Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2015, took place in the premises of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information of SR, Lamačská cesta 8/A, Bratislava on 11th November 2015. The organizer of event is SCSTI SR, it reports directly to the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of SR and the main partner of TVT 2015 is a company Slovenské elektrárne a. s., a member of ENEL.

Minister of Education J. Draxler solely opened the Science and Technology Week 2015

Today - November 9th, 2015 at 9.00 am in Bratislava - was opened the Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2015. The main organizer is the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information of SR (SCSTI SR) and the National Centre for the Popularisation of Science and Technology in Society.

An Exhibition the Science Untraditionally introduced interesting exhibits

An Exhibition the Science Untraditionally, as one of the events of the Science and Technology Week in Slovakia 2015, has taken place in the premises of the Science Centre, Bojnická 3, Bratislava, on 9th - 10th November 2015 at 9 am to 6 pm. The content of an exhibition, as in previous years, was a number of interesting exhibits and exhibitions from the world of science and technology.

Unoriginal plants in Slovakia

The theme Unoriginal plants in Slovakia approached in his lecture in the Bratislava Scientific confectioners a guest - RNDr. Pavol Mereďa, PhD., who graduated at the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the Comenius University in Bratislava, department Biology, specialization Botany. He has been working in the Institute of Botany SAS in Bratislava since 2003, where he became a Head of the Department of Vascular Plant Taxonomy since 2012. The event took place in the premises of the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information of SR on 20th October 2015.
